Thanks Valentine, for keeping up and not being pissed about my clumsiness in Penang, i read your blog, director next year XD and i also read that I missed the FINAL discussion, i teared up realizing that i spent the final night with Sarawak and not with you guys, so I'm sorry everyone, and thanks Valentine XD

Thanks Woosnam, for rocking the stage as Uncle David, so close to best actor, and in my personal opinion, i thought you should have won over Selangor XD thanks for keeping up with my sutpid antics XD

Thanks Raul, because, let's face it, you're an awesome friend, and your incredibly matured, INCREDIBLY and always giving great advice, gonna miss you, have to admit XD

New Post, Don't be sad

The journey is officially over

It's the end, Penang is over, and the journey that started in March 2009 has come to a full stop...
So for an update of things this is what has happened:
1) Sabah took home the runner up position in the English drama National Competition 2009

2) Selangor took home the 1st Place trophy

3) Sarawak took home a well deserved third place

Well, I'm gonna do a mini critique, I'll try to limit the negativity, so sorry if you get offended XDS

So we didn't get to see the previous seven schools, which incuded KL, Putrajaya and Malacca, cause I really wanted to see them, damnit :(

But from what I heard they were GOOD BUT NOT GREAT, so I was relief about that...

Than competition time, the nerves couldn't be held back, the emotions couldn't be held back, I cried like a baby, okay i admitted it, but it was an emotional day that really payed off XD

So we got on stage and we did our thing, i thought we did the best we could, okay i messed up a little with the projector, but i thought we did fantastic XD So we got back to the hotel, had out lunch, packed the props and went back to the auditoreum to sit for the next 8 states

Kelantan
Their play was weird, funny and awkward at the same time, their topic was REALLY sensitive it was about a daughter who was raped by her own father and she's pregnant... HEY!!! I got to see a celebrity, I SAW LADY GAGA, okay maybe not really lady Gaga, but there was someone who looked alot like her, complete with the avant garde costume, futuristic make up and fake blonde wig, it was something out of this world, okay, she gives birth to a dead disturbing looking dead puppet baby, and the play ends with the fatstabbing the daughter to death, and if you don't find that confusing i don't what is, especially the ending when the father cover his murdured daughter in a bunch of fake leaves, WITHOUT even covering her head, and the mother goes around looking for her not-so-well hidden daughter, and when she does all she does to her wicked husband is push him, WTF, if i was, or anyone was that mother i would burn him alive... And all this magical beings pop out of nowhere, didn't make much sense....

Labuan
I went out to eat burger while they were loading the props but i still came back in time to watch the ending, well, i did watch a little of the beggining, they used grim reaper costumes to carry the huge banner that reads "The Recorder", the title of their play, and when i came back i saw that they ONLY HAD ONE PROP, a couch that looked nice but they had to make it ugly by covering it with a yellow cloth..... There was one actor though, despit ehaving a PSYCHOTIC recorder obsessed character, he did an awesome job in terms of acting, it was amrvelous, seriously..... Had the entire team been this strong, they would have been the frontrunners, but too bad, their story was well, i don't know much cause i was out, but it was about a recorder....The flute thing not the tape recorder.... Labuan by the way joined last minute so i'm not surprised they only had one prop to work with...

Sarawak
Voice projection, I would give a 11/10, they were perfect in that... Initially i thought they were relly bad, and i only thought they were loud because of the boom microphones, BUT, there was a sudden blackout with mic and THEY STILL SOUNDED THE SAME, OMG, i was shocked, they were damn loud!!! But their story was.... pretty bad.... It was about four friends trying to sell the body of a fifth friend who recently passed away because they were too porr and too busy to do a funeral, BUT the friend wasn't actually dead, he was playing a trick on them, and they signed a deal to take the body away from them for $15,000, okay dead can't cause that much, cause I would have made a fortune if it was like that, just kidding :p So once they do they realize that the dealer was a fraud/thief/ripoff and the body's missing, so THEN the dead man pops out of nowhere and shocks them... They apologize and bal bla bla, and he seemingly forgves and goes away BUT a perimedic team shows up out of nowhere to carry the dead body away, OMG, that person was a ghost, I know it may sound fun, but thrust me, it was VERY confusing to understand, I had to ask someone about the play to get all the info i'm writing about now, the Sarawak team in person though, well, their iffy, just kidding, THEIR AWESOME!!!! Especially the two friends, Nate and Audrey, their like so nice, i didn't expect the other states to be so nice XD But we're both non-sememenanjungs too bahh XD

Kedah
It was an okay story, and the acting was above average, and they were just okay... But the dancing, oh gosh they bought cheesiness to a new level, so damn cheesy!!! It was about a bitchy spoiled misunderstood brat named Roxy who moves in to live with her new stepfather, along with her mother and her stepsister, Roxy becomes nice eventually, after ill treating her parents and the sister like a bitch.... I forgot why she had a conversation/argument/embrace with her step sister Ashley, and convinces her to get a tattoo on he rbum and to go clubbing with her... Being the nice girl she is, Ashley originally declines but says yes eventually, being the low confident person she is..... Oh yeah i forgot to mention the very cheesy living portraits hanging on the wall, the guy is so cheesy!!! He danced to I Like To Move It all of a sudden, and pretty cheesy dance moves at that! The girl portait believes that all good is obtained by free will while the guy portrait believes in...... I forgot already, after the cheesy dancing, i didn't pay attention to him..... So Ashley ends up getting aids and her stepfather dances to a cheesy unknown song that her mother stops is what happens next, and then 5 years into the future the family meet up one last time, where the parent haven't seen their two daughters for 5 years, and at the reunion..... Ashley dies, so so so sad :(

Penang
The cheese of the show, it was like tasting a cheese burger filled with cheese made patties and cheese made buns.... Well, at least it was entertaining, it's about a young boy who tries to find the answers in life, because he's too stressed with exams, well, why don't you tell the answers to the other 20 millions teenagers in Malaysia who are also stressed of exams among other things ?!? The story was cheese, they combined three form 4/5 literature (Life's breef candle, The Necklace, The Lotus Eater) Into this play, and the play was long, it over exceeded the time limit, they just had to the cheesiest ending ever, with the dancing, the talking, the SINGING, ish........ The character Tom Wilson is very entertaining though, and he's the best of the bunch..... The king was okay and that woman is plain annoying along with that boy......

Terengganu
It was boring at most times, I fell asleep, sorry, their props were superb, and the narrator girl was really good, but the story is the problem, it was boring, they did an adaptation of Lawrence Of Arabia, I can't comment much, I fell asleep....

Selangor
They were, hate to say it, really really really good, their costumes and props were masterclass, the voice projection was a joy and the language was a little iffy, but it was good, it's about a seemingly brilliant scientist named doctor Faustus who traded his soul to the devil for 24 years of success with the seven greatest sins in the world despite being warned by the angel he did it and 24 years later we get to see that he becomes a poor lonely stressed old man and that "the greatest gifts" are the seven deadly sins, and he dies... It was a painful joy to watch..... And for some reason every other state hates them, they say that they are mean and snobbish... So noone was happy for them, OOH!!!! They got to use microphone and they get to use the curtains, UNFAIR!!!

So we got to rest until 8.30, we had to do something to get the stress of results coming and the ending (*tear) so we had fun, running around, switching rooms, talking with states, vibrating each other..... Then results, we all shared a bus with Labuan and once there it was rwally formal, there were a few performances of singing and dancing, I cried during one of them, because it reminded me too much of the journey.... Then results, public speaking first, Selangor won, gosh, and then drama results, They did a really sinister move, they called each school one by one to go on stage to collect their consolation prize as they are elimenated, it was nerve wrecking, i was like "please, not sabah, any state but sabah" Kedah were the first once ousted, followed by Pahang and then all the way to the last school to get ousted, Labuan

Then we realized we were in the final three, everyone in the team screamed for joy, and then Sarawak was called as third, we screamed again, realizing we made it to FINAL TWO of the nationals!!!!! OMG The both states were called below stage and with dramatic music, seriously, they played dramatic music for more suspense, everyone was cheering loudly for Sabah, even i screamed Sabah, ufortanely after a long wait, they ended it with Selangor winning, and as Selangor got on stage almost noone clapped, but when we got on stage everyone was clapping so hard, and we got a standing ovation from one of the teams, and there were lots of shouts.....

So, at least I got a trophy XD, after the anouncement, KL went to console us, telling us we should have won, either that or they just don't like Selangor, muahahahahaha, many states said congrats to us..... And then group photos, we took lots XD

So that was the end of the journey stretching for about 7 months, I love you guys so much that it would tear me up to ever let go of the memories we shared together XD

So for, Chin, Woosnam, Ralph, Jude, Raul, Adriance, Orlando and Nathaniel, I can't believe you guys are leaving next year, and I hope you have a great life, like how great you made my life turn into XD Love you seriously do!!!

And Teacher Haslinda, I love you so much, thanks for putting up with me every step of the way, you are the best teacher any kid could ask for, have a spectacular time, just like how made my time with drama team spectacular....

And ofcourse too Hazli, what can I say? You are one of the greatese people I have ever met, and your emotions and maturity stuns me, I love you dude, I hope you'll stay with us next year too, but you also have your own life XD

Love you all, even all the teams we fought in the past and all the states in nationals (yes, even Selangor) Thanks for making my life darn brilliant.... Gosh I'm starting to cry right now, hehe

It's 12.27 AM, and I can't sleep at all, why even bother? I ONLY HAVE LIKE 3 HOURS OF SLEEPINGT IME LEFT before the airpot..... So I'm just gonna blog before I go, because it's TECHNICALLY today, yes! today is the reason why I put all those SEEMINGLY pointless countdown underneath each post.....

TODAY IS PENANG DAY!!! I can't wait to do stuff there, my friends!!! I can't wait for my friends XD Thanks to everyone who wished the LS Drama Team 2009 good luck, we really appreciate all the support XD

I hope we win. I know we'll win. We will win. There are the words going through my head right now, but I can't be too overconfident, for all I know we won't even make it to the final six *pali-palis* But goddamnit, I want it, I WANT IT BADLY.... Oh wells at least we made it this far...... Damn, I wanna win.... Penang is tomorrow..... Urgh....

HAZLI IS COMING, HELL YEAH!!! I almost thought he couldn't but last minute he called and saiBlogger: My Internet Journal - Create Postd he can XD XD XD SO HAPPY!!!!

Countdown : 1 day to Penang

Today was the epitome of AWESOME XD

so TODAY IS THE LAST DRAMA PRACTICE, yeah, you heard me, the last because win or lose the competition will end in Penang... DAMNIT!

Nevertheless, today was AWESOME, the best practice ever XD If only Hazli was there :( I finally feel like I belong in the team, noone can EVER take what I experienced from me, and for that I would love to thank the entire LS Drama team for making it all happen, I would be a wreck without you guys XD

PENANG XD Just 2 days, and i have to be at the airport by 4.30 AM XD



This post is too short for such an awesome day, so I'm doing a last minute update right before midnight, I'm packing now XD, yeah, I'm ACTUALLY PACKING.... Why so early? Well, because tomorrow I'll have to sleep by six so I can wake up at 12/1 AM and REALLY get ready, and I'm probably going to procrastinate tomorrow, so I'll have to pack now XD An else ahhd yes, that picture tells exactly how much I've packed so far, so I still have alot more to go XD

Countdown : 2 days to Penang

Practice. Packing. Penang

Today I had school, borin school.... Nothing particularly significant that is blog worthy to post here :D So, there was practice today, well, there was no practice actually, it was mostly packing the props for Penang and discussions about Penang, the rules, what to do and what not to do.

Let' see, we got our new Drama shirts today!!!! WOOT!!!! I'm like an M or L (okay, i'm not fit, don't laugh :p) but I got a size S, hahahahaha, it actually fits nicely, well, at least that's what I think, but I love the shirts !!! I love the orange in it :D!!!

So, I have to reach the airport by 4.30 AM!!!!! I'm having mixed feelings about that though, I love the idea of staying up all night and immediately going to the airport but I dislike being there that early, muahahahahahaha

Tomorrow is the last day of practice ever, KILL ME, I love drama, and it's almost over, so I wanna say if any of my mates are reading this, I FREAKING LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! :D

Countdown : 3 days to Penang

Finally got my phone back :D

So, I finally got my phone back, weeeeee :D Cikgu Safri was actually there......... WELL THERE WAS FOOD IN THE TEACHER'S LOUNGE, SO MAYBE THAT'S WHY :p Suprisingly, no scratches, no bruises no bumps, despite being there for a whole two weeks

So I did get to send my consent letter today, teacher gave me the letter at school, and after school ended I quickly ran to my dad, asked him to sign and ran back to teacher and sumbitted it, along with my passport-sized photo ofcourse

School overall WASN'T ACTUALLY THAT BAD, it was boring as heck, but still, it wasn't bad. Penang so close, and tomorrow is our first practice in A LONG TIME

Regrets.Names.Anxiety

I missed school today as most of you know, DAMN, i regret it now, I was suppose to get a consent letter from my teacher and I missed it..... Shit! I NEED that letter for Penang, but oh wells, I managed to work it out with my teacher, so I'm getting the letter tomorrow, and I have to take a passport sized photo by tomorrow....

Oh yeah, WTF, who the hell is using my name on Val's and my cbox??? It's getting freaky, oh well, I guess i should be flattered, I HAVE MY OWN FOLLOWER :p and WTF, Joshidiot?!? Choose a better screen name damnit :(

I don't wanna go to school, not because I'm lazy, well maybe a little, but mainly because I think classes are pointless and that for me, I mean I don't listen, not even the slightest in class, so why bother right? and i ABSOLUTELY HATE the school environment, so that crushes school patriotism for me, the only reason I go to school is Drama and exams, honestly, other than that I see NO POINT....

I'm starting to get lazy, and i'm starting to get distracted from my studies, shit, i knew it would come to this, i knew that my hard working feeling was just temporary.... Shit, I procastinate too much :(

I still haven't gotten my phone back, so I'm planning to get it on friday, it's so stressful, cikgu safri, where the hell is he??? His suppose to give me back my phone 2 weeks ago, WTF owh

So recently I've been analyzing my life, and I realized that, I let WAY TOO MUCH people take me for granted, it's like I can't talk to anyone, you know, i don't even tell my best friends eveything, because they would call me emo shit like that, so it's really starting to feel unhealthy.... Another thing I realized is how addicted i am to drama, I mean look at all my posts, 90% oh them is all dramarama, it's almost like it's my life, maybe it's because DRAMA GAVE ME A LIFE, shit, all this things cramped inside my thoughts are starting to come out and I have almost noone to tell them about, oh well, I guess I'm on this journey alone, hell, that sounded so corny...

4Oth Post / One more week

So cheers, this is my 40th post, so happy about that hahahahaha, yeah, 40 may seem like a tiny number to all those bloggers who've been blogging since primary school days, but 40 is a big number for a lazy person like me hahahaha, and yes, I'm counting all the posts i deleted :P

What else, oh yesh, JUST EXACTLY SEVEN DAYS/ ONE MORE WEEK, okay, I know in one of my previous posts I also said one more week, but today is THE REAL one more week, so excited XD, but one thing keeps on going on to my mind, when the hell is my postponed exam, since i'm missing it, going to Penang..... Hopefully it's later then I think it is XD

Oh yesh, I know the holiday only stretches until tomorrow, but I'M NOT going to school on wednesday and thursday.... Why? Simple, because i don't see myself actually listening to the pointless classes and having to deal with the confidence killing school environment, so why bother wasting my time, when I know it's MUCH MORE effective to study at home then at school, going on friday though, it's the next drama practice, the ONLY GOOD REASON of why I should go to school


Countdown : 7 days to Penang

Unfair owh

I just found out i'm addicted to blogging, so addicted, since there is nothing to do at home.......... MY BLOG IS MY ESCAPADE...... What else to write about ahh??? Hmmmm, oh yesh, new drama competition rules, so their gonna split the 13 schools competing so that means Labuan isn't competing and KL is, so that means one of the states dropped out, ooohhh, that means less competition, muahahahaha, I'm evil....

So anyways, back on topic, the new rule is, we're split into two groups, one with 7 schools, the other with 6, and the three best from each group advances to the ACTUAL final stage of the competition, whoah, I hope my school ends up in the group with ONLY six schools, less competition, hahahahaha, again I'm evil :p but seriously, I find this rule unfair and stupid, what if one group was made up of entirely superb plays, and the other group sucks?? So that means many of the good ones won't get a chance to be seen, WTF, so unfair owh :(

Countdown : 8 days to Penang

SD Card XD

For days, wait no, WEEKS, I've been desperately tryin to get a new SD card for Penang, because I have 4GB one for my camera, but 4GB won't last me for 4 days, so I just bought one from Karam Munsing :D OKAY, NOW THAT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE A BORING SHITTY UPDATE but seriously, I'm happy that I finally got an extra SD Card, just for the sake of Penang IT SEEMS LIKE I'M HAPPY ABOUT ANYTHING TO DO WITH PENANG....

Oh yeah and another thing, my mom FINALLY replaced the crappy fridge in the kitchen, LG SUCKS, so we're getting Hitachi :p

Oh yeah, I've been trying to put a chat box on here, but IT'S SO HARD owh to find, damnit :(


Countdown : 9 days to Penang

10 Days from now and counting......

Penang is just 10 days, and yes that's the Penang flag, not because I don't love Sabah anymore, trust me, i love Sabah way more than Penang but it's because I'm excited to go there, oh, I can't wait, I'm so excited, but can't be too excited because I have to do loads of studying also.... Did I forget to mention that Penang is on the same week as the final exam??? Oh yeah I did, I GET TO MISS EXAM DAMNIT!!!!! hell yeah, and I only have to endure 2 more days of school (thursday/friday) before Penang, WooHoo!!!!!

But on a sidenote, aside from the whole Penang craze, I've been addicted to sudying outside in the fresh air, as geeky as that sounds, I love to smell the nature and I can smell the tender (credits to Chin~) Hahahahaha, so gonna study today :D

Oh yeah, and special thanks to my old school friend Vivien for recomending Char Kuey Teow to eat in Penang so gonna try that :D


Countdown : 10 days to Penang

Dogshit, peeing, modem, penang, memorabilias and whatnots

So the thing that pisses me off so much is my bloody modem, I mean, WTF, many times i called goddamn tmnet, and they do nothing NOTHING, WTF, the modem sucks, it offs itself in a matter of minutes, so I have to write this post really fast before it offs itself..... I just finished cleaning dog shit and pee on the floor in the living room, well, my dog didn't go out today :( And I'm still so super hyped about Penang, so close yet so far, god damnit, I can't wait, I'M DYING TO GO............... Oh wells, PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE, i try to tell myself that *calm down josh calm down*



What also pisses me off is my laptop, WTF, the charger won't work, I had to use a back up laptop and it sucks! Stupid laptop chargers, why does mine have to suck so much?!? Urgh :(



Another agenda is I found a home for my drama memorabilia, the ski mask! the one i got from Sandakan....


Oh yeah, ONE MORE THING..... yesh people I CAN GO TO PENANG and no I DIDN'T CANCEL just to make it clear, if anyone of you are still unsure if i can go....

Now let's talk about this, my brows, yes, my EYE BROWS, yes, it's been waxed, these brows caused lots of trouble these past few days, LOTS OF TROUBLE oh, I'm getting used to them now, in fact, I don't think I look that bad anymore, some people may call it ugly, but i don't, i call it unique, and not retard unique, as in, nice unique..... I can't give away too much about how it got waxed but i'll give a hint, it was in school, yeah, in school....

Just stress

I'm so lazy to blog, I've always promised myself that I will blog everyday about well, everything, but........................................
Life has been so stressful lately that I don't feel like it....... So much pressure and drama going around these days, and no, I'm not gonna blog about it because......

I Wish that life was easy again, back to the simple drama team filled days, but I'm being selfish by saying that it's PMR for god sakes, I should wish Valentine the best of luck, I shouldn't go waxing of my brows, I shouldn't do anything bad, I shouldn't complain, well I'll try, it'sJUST ONE MORE GODDAMN WEEK, i try to tell myself to just be patient it's just 1 more week, 1 more week, 1 more week.............. gosh, anxiety is such a dangerous state to be in......

It's almost over *tear

I'm finally starting to see the end, the end of the school year, the end of the SM La Salle Drama Team 2009, oh the times we had, vibrating, practices, being upset, being filled with joy, winning, hahahaha.... I just miss it so much, I feel strangely emotional writing this post, well Penang is in 2 weeks, so we'll make more memories there :) But what would happen after? win or lose we'll still have to split.....
